Jana Gana Mana, Indian National Anthem On Mridangam by Mysore L Vadiraj
Hi friends, Happy Independence day to all, I have tried Playing our anthem "Jana Gana Mana" on Mridangam. As we all know this anthem has been written by Pandith Rabindranath Tagore. This is my small tribute to my country through my instrument on the occasion of 70th Indian Independence day. Please watch this special Video.
Also I'm really happy & excited that this video has became viral in YouTube & Facebook. It has reached 31k audiences all over the world.
I have used eight Mridangams from C to A & for nishadam I played in lower octave that is B pitch. Because technically we can't made top pitch in that shruthi.
Thank you. Enjoy the video..

I have composed a Mohra & Korvai for my recent concert in "Khanda Jaasthi Triputa thala I Tishram Gathi", which is 27 aksharas ie 9 aksharas including laghu & dhrutham, & in Tishram gathi, we need to multiply the whole thala Aksharam into 3 which will become 27. [9×3=27]
